EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS
NEBDIAA sponsors quarterly lunches for its
members for which it seeks speakers who are experts in their field on
topics typically requested by its members. NEBDIAA also sponsors
periodic workshops on subjects relevant to certain groups within its
membership. NEBDIAA members are also invited to co-sponsored events.
All members are included in NEBDIAA’s email system and receive copies of
professional newsletters or announcements on topics relevant to the
membership as they become available. Although NEBDIAA’s goal is to
bring education to its membership, it also provides on this website a
list of upcoming educational events sponsored by other organizations.
NETWORKING
NEBDIAA’s
quarterly meetings and section workshops give its members an opportunity
to meet others in their field and discuss issues and problems pertinent
to them. Members have access to the membership list that facilitates
their calling or emailing their peers during their daily work life. Any
member wishing to communicate with the entire membership can forward an
email to
nebdiaa@comcast.net for distribution.
DISCOUNTS
NEBDIAA
attempts to negotiate discounts on behalf of its membership with a
variety of service providers. NEBDIAA currently has the following
